Terms & Conditions

Please read through the following Terms and Conditions of Sale and Purchase (“Terms”) carefully.  They comprise the terms on which you are permitted to purchase hampers and wines from Town &Country Hampers (“us” or “we)  on the website. If you submit an order for any item advertised for sale on this website, this shall be taken to constitute acceptance by you of these Terms.

(1)    If you wish to purchase any of the items for sale on this website, you must submit a completed order form.  Your order will not be accepted unless you place us in a position of being able to receive full payment for your order at the time we accept it.  If we agree to accept your order, we will confirm this by email, when possible, and will supply the items you have ordered to you in accordance with the  Terms.
(2)    The sale and purchase of products via this website will be governed by a contract between you and us formed when you have placed an order, your order has been accepted by us and we have sent you confirmation.  The terms of the Contract will comprise these Terms, as amended or updated by us from time to time, and the prices and other relevant information about the Products published by us on this website at the time the contract is formed. We reserve  the right to replace any item that becomes unavailable. In the  event of an item being out of stock, to avoid delay in processing of your order Town & Country Hampers reserve the right to substitute items with items of similar value and quality.
(3)    We reserve the right to change these Terms at our discretion. Any changes will be posted to the website and it is your responsibility to ensure, from time to time, that you are aware of such changes.  Changes will become effective 24 hours after first posting and you will be deemed to have accepted any change if you continue to shop on the website after that time.
(4)    You acknowledge and agree that, in entering into a Contract, you do not rely on and have no remedy in respect of, any statement, representation, warranty or understanding (whether negligently or innocently made) of any person (whether party to the Contract or not) which is not expressly set out or referred to in the Contract. This is not intended to limit or exclude liability for fraud on our part.
(11)     We can include your personal message to accompany the selected Hamper.
(12)     We cannot accept responsibility for the late/delayed delivery of hampers where personalised greeting cards or compliment slips are received later that seven (7) working days prior to the clients required delivery date.

(13)     The price of each hamper shall be as is quoted on the website on the date you place your order, subject to any inadvertent pricing errors (whether technical or otherwise) by us.
(14)    We display hamper and wine prices both ex. and incl. VAT; delivery charges are inclusive of VAT at 23.00%.
(15)     We reserve the right to revise the price of any hamper on this website without notice.


(16)    We accept all major credit and debit cards.
(17)    Cheques and bank drafts should be made payable to Town & Country Hampers.

(18)     Please allow a minimum of three (3) working days for deliveries within the Republic of Ireland but due to seasonal peaks this time span may alter. Please allow fine (5) days for UK and EU delivery
(19)     National delivery of a hamper is €7.95 incl. VAT. This price excludes the Glandore, Tara and the Supreme due to size. Please contact us for quote.
(20)     Special quote are available for multi delivery to one location.
(21)     The following countries are excluded from ordering: Afghanistan, Belarus, Burma (Myanmar), Cuba, Congo, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast (also Cote d’Ivorie), Lebanon, Liberia, North Korea, Serbia, Sudan, Syria, Zimbabwe, Yugoslavia. Delivery is to to Ireland and Europe
(22)     All hampers and wines will be shipped by An Post or a courier. Normally, most products will be dispatched on the date you have requested but this date can be delayed due to circumstances as outlined in (12) above.  If you or your customer has not received your order by the specified date please contact Customer Services by email at sales@townandcountryhampers.ie/office@townandcountryhampers.com
(23)     If the products delivered to you do not include all of the products that you ordered or include incorrect products, you must contact us in writing or by email immediately. If you do not, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage as a result. Our liability is limited to the price of the products not delivered or the cost of replacing such products.

(25)   If the item is damaged when it reaches you, please provide photographic evidence and contact us to discuss.
